Facebook Virus

I’ve just been reading that there yet another Facebook virus kicking around, I don’t go on there much myself, as I don't really have the time

I was on Facebook maybe 3 or 4 months ago after a friend had written on my wall, so I was there writing a message for my friend to read later when my computer totally froze, couldn’t do anything with it, so I thought I would leave it be and let itself out, I came back to the computer a few hours later and it was still the same. Lucky I have backup up everything and I’m lucky to have more than one computer, took the hard drive out of the computer and put the hard drive on to another computer as slave copied all the things I needed and then reformatted the hard drive put windows back on and then I was back up and running, but not everyone can do this.

Anyway, I told a few friends who I know that are on Facebook to be careful, well they wasn’t careful as it wasn’t long before they had become to the virus that was on the site. In total I know 6 people who have had a virus from Facebook and all around the same time within a matter of days or at the most a week of each other. Even with antivirus software I have installed didn't stop the virus, the virus I had just stopped the computer dead, stopped it from working there and then, nothing that I could do with it. Why to people make and put viruses on the internet to totally screw up someone else’s computer. I don’t understand why they do that. But I have an idea that the software companies are putting out the viruses onto the internet, because if there wasn’t a virus, they would be out of business. A new virus hits the internet and within a matter of hours they have solved the problem. They have something to kill off the virus. How could this be I ask how could they do that so fast just leaves me wondering thats all.

Well I stay away from Facebook and take not to go on there, sorry Facebook but I don’t want my computer going silly on my again, it not that, it’s backup and things are saved its the inconvenience of it all.
